"Life IMPROVment is such a fun way to challenge some of the old ideas that are holding us back! The playful style of the course and the laughter was a surprisingly powerful tool to cut through the crap we hold onto and allow the lessons of the class to sink in."
— Josh Hayes (Award Winning Film and TV Storyboard Artist)
"A friend suggested I attend the LifeIMPROVment workshop in Los Angeles. When I asked what it would be about, he said it would teach improvisation skills that would be beneficial for me and my business. I said I'd think about it, and out of curiosity I googled "improvisation" and found a definition that eased my skepticism: "Improvisation is the process of devising a solution to a requirement by making-do, despite absence of resources that might be expected to produce a solution. Improvisation as a context of performing arts is a very spontaneous performance without specific preparation. The skills of improvisation can apply to many different faculties, across all artistic, physical, cognitive, academic, and business disciplines." It peaked my interest and I signed up.
What an enlightening, challenging and fun learning experience! The improve exercises we we went through reawakened my memories of my early days in advertising when we had to be spontaneous and think on our feet in order to succeed. I guess it was improvisation, but we didn't call it that! The phrase "whack on the side of the head" comes to mind... Bogged down in running the daily details of a company, I had lost much of the creativity and spontaneity that is so important in any business - and especially my business! And the super talented trainers coaches and comedians made it not feel not like a workshop at all!
Any person serious about jump-starting their career or business should seriously consider Life IMPROVment.

"I went in to the workshop completely open-minded regarding what it might produce. My hope was to possibly gain a little different perspective in regard to how I was looking at things. Basically to take some negatives and turn them into some positives and maybe do a little networking while I was there.
Once there, I found the room was filled with quality people on comparable paths. Those paths being the path of betterment of themselves, others and the world around them. The workshop flew by and I was left, with as with all great events, the wish that it could’ve been longer.
The speakers were engaging, entertaining. The exercises had purpose and results. If you had attended with a little knowledge, you would’ve walked out with a lot more. Had you attended with a lot of knowledge, you would’ve walked out with a lot more.
The workshop was professionally handled, and a great time was had by all. I will be attending the next workshop at my earliest opportunity. I highly recommend it to anybody considering going to it. Make the time!"
